UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor has earned the respect of the light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier. Cormier tweeted the following in an ode of respect to the famous Irishman:

After a fan tweeted to Cormier saying, “Rumble hit you with the hardest punch of all time and you kept standing, so I think you’re good lol,” Cormier explained the reference to his photo he posted to his tweet regarding McGregor.

We will look to see if Cormier will fix his overextension problem in his next title defense that is speculated to be against former champion Jon Jones.
