Joseph Duffy is generally known as ‘the last guy to beat Conor McGregor’ however if you listen to UFC President Dana White he’s ‘the guy with perfect standup.’
Duffy is 14-1 in his professional career and 2-0 under the UFC banner with both of his Octagon wins being stoppages. He will face Dustin Poirier this Saturday in the headlining bout for UFC Dublin.
Dana White spoke to UFC.com about Duffy, and had high praise for ‘Irish Joe.’
“I don’t even point to Duffy beating Conor because they fought a long time ago when they were younger. I look at Duffy now. Duffy today is a well-rounded, explosive finisher – a guy whose stand up is literally perfect.”
Duffy vs. Poirier goes down Saturday at 1pm PT live on UFC Fight Pass.
