A key lightweight bout between Michael Johnson and Dustin Poirier served as the main event of tonight’s UFC Fight Night 94 fight card in Hidalgo, Texas.
The fight started and both men seemed happy to stand and trade strikes early.
As Poirier came forward with a combination, Johnson was able to slip a punch and land a big counter right hand, followed by a straight left, that sent Dustin crashing to the canvas.
Johnson quickly pounced on the injured Poirier with some viscous ground and pound which forced the referee to step in and call a stop to the fight.
