On this day in MMA history five years ago, UFC lightweight Edson Barboza picked up arguably one of the greatest knockouts in MMA history as he starched Terry Etim with a wheel kick.

The win was Barboza’s fourth under the UFC banner, and extended his professional record to 10-0 as he picked up ‘Knockout of the Night’ and ‘Fight of the Night’ honors for his spectacular win. On the flip side, the loss returned Etim to the loss column after submitting Edward Faaloloto at UFC 138 in his previous fight.

While Etim hasn’t fought since 2013, Barboza is currently gearing up for his March 11th scrap with Beneil Dariush at ‘UFC Fight Night: Fortaleza’ where he looks to extend his 2-fight win streak.
