It was a night of celebration as Team Alpha Male’s Cody Garbrandt was crowned the new UFC bantamweight champion on Friday night.

Garbrandt put on a brilliant performance against Dominick Cruz to take the title from “The Dominator” in their five-round championship bout. Garbrandt ended up winning a unanimous decision over Cruz, who suffered just the second loss in his professional mixed martial arts career. Cruz’s last loss was against Team Alpha Male’s Urijah Faber in their first match way back in 2007.

Garbrandt, Faber, as well as the rest of Team Alpha Male were elated with their championship win and took to the events following the UFC 207 fight.

We see Garbrandt get stitched up in his suit and then take to the post-fight press conference where he addressed the media following the biggest win of his career. The crew then takes it to the club for Garbrandt’s afterparty in Las Vegas where he was surrounded by his friends and family.

“I was just living in the moment,” Garbrandt said during the UFC 207 post-fight press conference. “I was just having fun out there and enjoying it. It was a great fight. I had so much fun in there. He’s a great sh*t talker. He knows a lot of good words. He speaks well. Sh*t, I couldn’t read until I was in the third grade. I barely graduated high school. I knew what I was getting into with him. I knew I couldn’t let his words and his trash talk get me emotional in there.”

At the end of the video, we see a moment where UFC flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson is involved in some sort of situation in the club where it isn’t exactly clear what happened.
