It was an emotional rollercoaster of a week for Daniel Cormier, who went from fighting Jon Jones for the light heavyweight championship, to fighting Anderson Silva in a 3 round non-main event fight.

Cormier won the fight in convincing fashion, taking Anderson Silva down numerous times throughout the fight, and maintaining control on the ground. While the fight drew criticism from fans, Cormier convincingly won the bout via unanimous decision.
