Top heavyweight contenders Ben Rothwell and Junior dos Santos squared off in tonight’s UFC Fight Night 86 main event.

Both men were able to land some heavy shots in the opening round. JDS scored some great shots to the body while “Big Ben” found a home for his overhand right on frequent occasion.

Round two begins and the former champion, dos Santos, continues his assault on Rothwell’s body. Excellent movement being shown by “JDS”. Junior peppered Rothwell for most of the round by using some crisp boxing and finished with an impressive front kick to the body that sent Ben flying.

Round three and “JDS” continues his striking assault on Rothwell. Ben’s eye is getting really swollen at this point. 30-27 would be my guess on scorecards at this point.

Rounds four and five were more of the same from the former UFC champion, as JDS simply outclassed Rothwell the entire round.
