The main event of tomorrow’s UFC Fight Night 130 card was almost scratched earlier today when event headliner Darren Till missed weight by a whopping 3.5 pounds (174.5 pounds).
Thankfully the UFC was able to convince Till’s opponent, Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson (14-2-1 MMA), to continue on with the fight despite the Liverpool natives botched weight cut.
With that said, in order for tomorrow night’s highly anticipated fight to come to fruition, Darren Till can weigh no more than 188-pounds at 1pm on Sunday.
In addition to that, after failing to make the welterweight limit of 171-pounds Darren Till (16-0-1 MMA) is now forced to forfeit 30% of his fight purse, all of that money will now go to his opponent Stephen Thompson.

I will say this final thing about weigh ins, all the negotiations are fine but in the end being over is an advantage. So, I am willing to give my opponent as long as he needs to make weight as long as I or someone in my camp is present. That puts all the responsibility on them.
