UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is eyeing a “big money fight” for his first title defense which is expected to take place later this year.

“The Chosen One” has expressed interest in fighting either former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre or former Strikeforce welterweight title holder Nick Diaz in recent weeks.

UFC president Dana White has gone on record as saying that Woodley’s first title defense will come against the divisions #1 contender Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson, who is currently riding an amazing seven-fight win streak, but Woodley doesn’t seem very interested in that being his next fight.

At last night’s UFC on FOX 21 event in Vancouver, former UFC middleweight title challenger Demian Maia entered the welterweight title picture conversation, this after he earned a first-round submission victory over former interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit.

The victory served as Maia’s sixth-straight in the 170-pound division, which is the second longest active streak, trailing only Stephen Thompson’s seven.

Woodley was on Twitter following last night’s UFC on FOX 21 event and retweeted this fans suggestion for the next 170-pound fights to make, check it out:

Woodley followed that up with this message for the people saying he is ‘ducking’ Stephen Thompson:
