The UFC 213 bantamweight title fight between champion Cody Garbrandt and former champion TJ Dillashaw may be on rocky roads.
The two former teammates are slated to settle their differences in the Octagon at UFC 213 following their stints as coaches on the current season of The Ultimate Fighter. However, both fighters took to social media on Friday to reveal some information that could potentially push the fight back to a later date.
Dillashaw posted a photo to social media with the following caption:
I SMELL SOMEONE TRYING TO PULL OUT OF A FIGHT… My flights were cancelled on me last minute to be at the “UFC Summer Kickoff” press conference today because Cody doesn’t want to go. @cody_nolove @ufc @danawhite
Interestingly, Garbrandt took to twitter shortly after and revealed that he is suffering from an injured back and is heading to Germany for a procedure.
Garbrandt: Flying to Germany tomorrow for my second back procedure in less than 3 months, rest easy @TJDillashaw your time will come.

UFC 213 is set to take place on July 8 at the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card is already being put together with some exciting matchups with former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone set for a scrap at 170. Alistair Overeem and Fabricio Werdum will meet in a trilogy fight and Anthony Pettis will return to the lightweight division against Jim Miller.
