Ryan Bader (25-5 MMA) advanced to the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix tournament semifinals last night by picking up a quick fifteen-second knockout victory over Muhammed Lawal (21-7 MMA).
The current Bellator light heavyweight champion, Ryan Bader, was able to drop “King Mo” with a left hand before eventually finishing Lawal off with ground and pound.

With the win, “Darth” Bader now advances to Heavyweight Grand Prix’s semifinals where he will meet Matt Mitrione.
“Meathead”, who advanced to the tournament semifinals by defeating veteran Roy Nelson via decision, had a message for Bader following last night’s impressive performance.

Bader and Mitrione have been buddies for a long time but will now have to put that friendship aside in favor of attempting to become the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix tournament winner.
In the other tournament semifinal, “The American Gangster” Chael Sonnen will square off mixed martial arts legend Fedor Emelianenko.
