Yesterday morning UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos withdrew from his UFC 196 main event title fight against Conor McGregor due to a broken foot.
The UFC ultimately replaced dos Anjos with Nate Diaz on short notice, and moved the bout from 155 pounds to 170 pounds given that Diaz was stepping in on short notice.
After the official announcement of McGregor vs. Diaz, Rafael dos Anjos took to Facebook to give his statement on his withdrawal, complete with a picture of his very broken foot.
—>>>Me desculpem todos os fans de verdade e ao @ufc , em toda minha carreira de 32 lutas eu nunca precisei cancelar…
