Last week, it was announced that former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar had failed an out-of-competition drug test prior to UFC 200.
Immediately, Lesnar’s UFC 200 opponent, Mark Hunt, called for the UFC to give him 50% of Lesnar’s massive $2.5 million purse for the event, or for them to release him from his contract. Hunt then changed his demand, revealing that he wanted 100% of Lesnar’s purse.
This week, it was revealed that Lesnar had also failed a fight night drug test the night of UFC 200. In both cases, Lesnar reportedly failed for an estrogen blocker. While the UFC released a statement on Lesnar’s failed drug test, Mark Hunt still has no answers as to how the UFC will handle the situation.
He spoke to MMAFighting:
“I want to know what the UFC is going to do about this sh*t. Four days and two drug test failures and I have no answers.”
Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
