The UFC’s 170-pound weight class is easily one of if not the best and deepest division they have to offer. However, none of the many top talents have any fights booked at the moment. And some are starting to get a little antsy. Those of which include the likes of rising contenders, Kamaru Usman and Darren Till.
Till has been vocal about wanting to just fight whoever and where ever. He now has the date set for May 27th in his home of Liverpool, England but no opponent. Today, the “Nigerian Nightmare” Kamaru Usman took to Twitter to put the division(and Till) on notice. In which the outspoken Brit would respond resulting in some fun banter.

Did I say you weren't tough?? No!! The difference is that I know that and I welcome it. Unlike you waiting for Dana to keep you safe away from the real killa in the division. U got skill but ur not a MMA fighter don't let this fake hype get U embarrassed in front of Liverpool. https://t.co/1dwErO7GVZ

Surely the wide majority of fans wouldn’t be opposed to this matchup and it sounds like each wants it.
Usman’s last fight took place at UFC Fight Night 124 in St Louis on January 14th. That night he extended his winning streak to a whopping eleven(seven in the UFC) by defeating Emil Meek via unanimous decision.
Till on the other hand has been out of action for much longer. His last win was one of the greatest breakthrough performances in recent memory when he walked through Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in just one round. That fight took place in October and we haven’t seen Till in action since.
Now, it was officially announced that Till will fight in the main event of UFC Fight Night 130 in Liverpool but against who is still up in the air. Well…Usman is making your job a whole lot easier, Mick Maynard!
Another option would be the recent UFC London victor, Leon “Rocky” Edwards who called Till out after his win over Peter Sobotta. Whomever it ends up being, Till will surely just be happy to fight anyone for UFC’s first trip to his hometown.
Is Usman vs Till the fight to make?
