The UFC will crown a new champion at February’s UFC 208 event in Brooklyn.

The promotion just announced that former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm will challenge Germaine de Randamie for the inaugural women’s featherweight title at the Barclays Center on February 11.

Holly Holm (10-2 MMA) will compete for the first time since suffering a unanimous decision loss to Valentina Shevchennko at July’s UFC on FOX 20 event. Prior to that, “The Preachers Daughter” was submitted by Miesha Tate at March’s UFC 196 event, surrendering her women’s bantamweight title in the process.

Prior to the setbacks, Holm was riding a 10-fight win streak which included her shocking head kick knockout victory over former women’s bantamweight title holder Ronda Rousey at UFC 193.

Meanwhile, Germaine de Randamie (7-3 MMA) was last seen in action at May’s UFC Fight Night 87 event in Rotterdam, where she scored a first-round TKO victory over Anna Elmose. The victory marked Ranamie’s second in a row as she had previously defeated Larissa Pacheco via second-round TKO at UFC 185 in Dallas.
