It has been nearly three years since former UFC welterweight kingpin Georges St-Pierre has competed inside the Octagon. Since then, talks of a GSP return to the UFC have never been far from the mouth’s of MMA fans.
Ahead of UFC 196 there were rumors of a potential GSP vs. Conor McGregor fight at UFC 200 if McGregor were to defeat Nate Diaz. Ultimately, Diaz submitted McGregor in the 2nd round of their welterweight fight.
It was revealed pre-fight that Diaz had been campaigning for a bout with GSP at UFC 200, and following the fight Tristar gym head coach Firas Zahabi revealed that he would speak with GSP in regards to setting up a fight.
On Wednesday evening Zahabi took to Twitter to drop another hint regarding the bout.
