Donald Cerrone picked up another sensational finish at tonight’s UFC Fight Night 139 event in Denver, submitting Mike Perry in the very first-round.
“Platinum” looked sharp in the early moments of the fight, eventually scoring a takedown and taking side control on the hometown favorite.
However, “Cowboy” was able to reverse the position after scoring a sweep and immediately began searching for submissions.
Eventually, Donald Cerrone was able to secure a tight armbar submission which forced Mike Perry to tapout.
As you can see in the photo below, Donald Cerrone was able to get a lot of torque on the fight-ending submission.

As expected, the nasty submission finish resulted in injuries to Mike Perry’s arm.
Shortly after his loss to Donald Cerrone at UFC Denver , “Platinum” took to Twitter where he revealed that “Cowboy” actually broke his arm with the submission.

Following his emphatic win over Mike Perry at tonight’s UFC event in Denver, Donald Cerrone announced that he would be returning to lightweight for his next octagon appearance. “Cowboy” added that he has his sites set on current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
