Late Wednesday, it was announced on “UFC Tonight” that the UFC was hoping to get Cris Cyborg back in the Octagon for another 140-pound catchweight bout at UFC 201. The UFC even had an opponent in mind as the report said they were looking to get Cyborg matched with Germaine de Randamie.

However, Cyborg took to twitter to clarify what her fight plans are for the immediate future.

“My next fight will be at my weight, 145lbs. Title defense at Invicta FC,” Cyborg also tweeted in Portuguese (translation via MMA Fighting). “Catchweight only with Ronda Rousey or Miesha Tate.”

The Invicta featherweight champion says she was not allowed to bring her belt to any of the media appearances for her UFC 198 fight with Leslie Smith.

“I’m the 145-pound champion,” she tweeted. “The UFC doesn’t have my division, okay. But they don’t have the right to delete my division. No point trying to manipulate my fans. I will be defending my belt in my next fight. I already proved I can make 140 pounds, I did my part.”

“It was really hard to make 140,” she continued. “I had to train three times a day, and I’m making a documentary that will be online soon for you to watch. In every media (obligation), I had to do for my last fight I couldn’t take my belt to show I was the champion. It was forbidden.”
