Check out this video of UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor making a fan’s dream come true.
McGregor could see a cardboard cutout of himself on the fan’s Los Angeles apartment balcony and decided to pay him a visit and absolutely blew the excited fan’s mind when he walked in and thanked him for the support.
While “The Notorious” is known to be polarizing with his outspoken personality, this video shows that the UFC featherweight champion has some grounded roots and makes time for a dedicated fan.
McGregor signed his autograph on for the fan and told him “I appreciate it, man, honestly. It was an honor to meet you brother.”
The enamored fan said “Every Saturday I put out my cardboard cutout, put up the flag, put up the banner. Only thing I can say, and I hope that Conor sees this is that, that feeling he had against Jose Aldo when he knocked him out and became the champ hands down, that’s what I felt like tonight,” he said after McGregor left the apartment.
McGregor said at the end of the video, “I appreciate the support of all the fans out here and all over the world. I never take it for granted. I use it as motivation, so I am extremely grateful to the fans.”
