The MMA community lost their minds when Rafael dos Anjos pulled out of the scheduled superfight with Conor McGregor back in February. Nate Diaz then shook things up when he was announced as the late-replacement for dos Anjos and further upset a lot of people when he submitted McGregor at UFC 196.

Now Diaz and McGregor will face off in a non-title welterweight rematch at the historic UFC 200 event in July. While initial reports were released that the two were going to be fighting at UFC 200 in the welterweight rematch, Diaz had said that he wanted the fight at 155 so that Conor McGregor would not have any excuses if he lost the rematch.

It seems like McGregor’s coach, John Kavanagh wants to take credit for trying to get the bout at 155 pounds, even though Nate made it clear himself.
