It’s no secret that UFC featherweight champ Conor McGregor is a bit of a car fanatic. Over the course of his last few fights, the Irish star has assembled a pretty flashy collection of luxury vehicles. Unfortunately for him, most of those cars are in Ireland and Las Vegas – not New York City, which is the setting of his next fight.
Luckily, Rolls-Royce has hooked McGregor up with a customized Ghost model to assure he’s able to roll around New York City in the style to which he’s grown accustomed.
The car is jet-black, with the exception of the word “Notorious” and an image of McGregor, which are emblazoned in white across the sides. Rolls-Royce priced the vehicle at roughly $350,000 in a release.
Safe to say that the Irish star will not go unnoticed as he cruises around Manhattan.
McGregor has travelled to New York City to headline UFC 205, which will mark the UFC’s long-awaited debut in the city. In this headlining bout, he’ll be taking on UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez in a bid to become the first fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two weight classes simultaneously. The event has apparently broken the live gate venue for Madison Square Garden, and is expected to crush all previous pay-per-view records. In this fight, McGregor should also surpass previous records for fighter pay – records he has set himself.
In addition to its potentially history-making main event, UFC 205 will also feature two other title fights. The first of these title fights will pit welterweight champion Tyron Woodley against venomous striker Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. The second will see dominant flyweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk attempt to defend her title for a fourth time against fellow undefeated Polish fighter Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
Outside of this trio of title fights, UFC 205’s main card will see recent champions Chris Weidman and Miesha Tate attempt to rebound from their title losses against Yoel Romero and Raquel Pennington respectively. The main card will also feature a compelling welterweight showdown between Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Kelvin Gastelum.
