Cody Garbrandt and TJ Dillashaw bombard each other with pictures and trash talk on Twitter

TJ Dillashaw Cody Garbrandt

Last night, the first episode of season 25 of The Ultimate Fighter hit our screens, and as expected, the majority of the drama hinged on the beef between coaches Cody Garbrandt and TJ Dillashaw – the bantamweight champ and number-one-contender respectively.

Garbrandt and Dillashaw, who used to train together at Team Alpha Male, share one of the most visible rivalries in MMA today. Today, when they are serving as rival coaches on the current season of The Ultimate Fighter, and are scheduled for a bantamweight title fight at UFC 213 this July 8, their beef is reaching new heights. It seems we can’t go a day without one side trashing the other in the media, or on social media.

Here’s today’s dosage of their ongoing and highly entertaining beef. The theme of this round seems to be photoshopped pictures, including one from Team Garbrandt that is decidedly not safe for work. Scroll on at your peril.

We’ll start with some of Dillashaw’s Tweets:

Here’s one:

Here’s another one that knocks Garbrandt for his quick temper and tendency to get, well, hands-on.

Here’s another, which Dillashaw Retweeted, that references his and Garbrandt’s differing coaching styles:

This one, finally, seems to be a dig at Garbrandt’s looks – though without a caption, it’s hard to say for sure.

And now for some of Garbrandt’s latest fire:

Here’s his response to Dillashaw’s anti-violence message.

Here’s some more heat from the champ. This time, he hits his rival with a steroid use accusation. While this is probably an attempt to get in Dillashaw’s head, we’re compelled to remind that Dillashaw has never failed a drug test.

This image, which Garbrandt Retweeted, plays on the “snake” nickname Dillashaw involuntarily received from Conor McGregor.

And finally, here’s the NSFW Tweet we mentioned above. Let’s just say Garbrandt might have hit below the belt with this one.

What do you think of TJ Dillashaw and Cody Garbrandt’s rivalry? Who wins the fight? Sound off, PENN Nation!
