Mike Perry has only fought twice in the UFC, but “Platinum” has certainly made his presence felt.
With two knockouts in as many octagon appearances, Perry took to Twitter to stir the pot with Alan Jouban, who will take on Perry at UFC on FOX 22 on December 17.
See for yourself how their Twitter exchange went below!

Jouban explained his Twitter feud with Perry on the MMA H.E.A.T podcast, adding another layer of excitement to an already intriguing matchup between two strikers with knockout power.
“It’s going to be a barnburner – we’re going to want to take each other out before the closing bell,” Jouban said while co-hosting the MMA H.E.A.T. podcast. “He’s a bit of a newbie to the UFC – he’s only had two fights in the UFC, but both of his fights have been within three months of each other. … He’s 9-0 with nine knockouts, so he’s a fun guy to watch, and he’s a big (expletive) talker, so it’s actually working out. He’s not the name or the ranking that I wanted, but he’s another guy that will generate a lot of buzz.”
Jouban likened “Platinum” (9-0) to a “Jersey Shore reject”, and revealed that Perry’s trash talk is just motivating him more than angering him.
“I definitely watched all the seasons of ‘Jersey Shore,’ I was a fan,” Jouban said. “He reminds me of all the ‘Jersey Shore’ guys. He didn’t make it into the house (for the show).
“He talks a lot of trash. We’ve been going back-and-forth on Twitter. But at the end of the day, it’s bringing attention to the fight. It’s making me want to punch him in the face a lot more than when I found out I’m going to be fighting him.”
Who do you see winning between this battle of strikers? Will “Platinum” Mike Perry notch his tenth knockout win in a row? Or will Jouban hand him his first-ever loss? Sound off, PENN Nation!
